$1499 raised on Indie GoGo Campaign

Well the fundraising campaign for our short film finished up yesterday and we successfully raised $1499USD.

This will cover the cost of Film Festival entrance fees, authoring DVD's, catering on set, with a little bit left over for props, location fees etc.

I would personally like to thank every single individual who contributed towards the making of this film. So many of my family/friends/acquaintances have shown that they believe in me and are willing to support in anyway they could. This experience has been very humbling.

If you contributed to our campaign you will be receiving an email shortly asking for certain details such as, What name you want in the credits? (correct spelling important!) and a timeline on how things will progress. We will also keep you up to date as the film goes into pre-production, casting, shooting and the festival circuit.

Thank you so very much for your support!

Indie GoGo update/John Grove Fan Club

We are currently sitting on a healthy $742 raised on our Indie GoGo campaign after 2 weeks and although we are a long way from our 'dream' goal the money raised so far will go a long way towards covering the expensive film festival entry fees as well as authoring the DVD's needs to cover the pledges (13 sold so far) and the ones needed to enter said festivals.

We are truly humbled by the support we are receiving by friends/family and colleagues. Many see the passion Eddie (Madphat Productions) and I have to create an award winning quality short film and others are just plain generous.

We would like to give a shout out to our most generous contributor so far: John Grove

Not only has this vocal talent lent us his silky tones for the trailer voice over but he also dropped $100 of his own hard earned in the shared belief that we are onto something.

It was an extreme pleasure working with John and we would undoubtedly recommend him to ANYONE who was looking to have their product/concept enhanced by a voice over.

You can find John and examples of his work here:

Thank you to all who have donated, helped spread the word or just given us an encouraging word!!! We appreciate it!

Indie GoGo Here We GoGo!!!

As mentioned in a previous blog "Soap - Short Film Announces an Announcer" we have the vocal stylings of none other than John Grove - voice over extraordinaire for our mini trailer for our Indie GoGo fundraising launch.

I have now added my Aussie "not so talented" voice and my director Eddie at Madphat Productions is in the middle of finalizing our intro video.+

To whet your appetite check out the Music video my man Eddie has whipped up and imagine what he is capable of with my quality script.

Check in soon and find the perk/package that suits you!!!
